William O. Hunt, 84, of Moores Hill, IN, passed away on October 20, 2014 at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, IN. He was a retiree of the Monsanto Co. where he was Chief Operator, was a WWII veteran of the US Army & was a member of the Hope Baptist Church & the Operating Engineers. He was well known as a Bluegrass musician.

He was the beloved husband of Thelma J. (nee Carter) Hunt, the devoted father of Danny R.(Sharon) & Marsha A. Hunt & stepfather of Rev. William Gary (Jan) Lay & Alesia Rene (Tom) Wilger, the loving grandfather of Scott & Lori Crosby, Miranda (Connell) Paytes; Joshua (Jessica), Charlie (Lauren) , Danny Jr.(Kristi) & the late Billy Hunt & the great grandfather of Gaige & Joselynn Crosby, Zackary Wilhoit; Kendra, Madison, Carson, Mason, Zachary & Abbigail Hunt. He is also survived by nephews & was preceeded in death by 3 siblings.

Visitation Thurs., Oct. 23, 6-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002 where the funeral service will be held on Fri., Oct. 24, at 11 AM. Interment following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves.
