James M. Sutherland, M.D., Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati, died at age 91 on August 16, 2014 in Hyde Park, Cincinnati. Dr. Sutherland is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Betty Sutherland, M.D.

Survived by his cherished children, Thomas Steele Sutherland and Ann McKenzie Sutherland, adored grandchildren--Christopher Bridges Sutherland, James Thomas Sutherland and Alexandra Sutherland Medley--and by his dear brother George Sutherland.

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
