KENNETH BERNARD GERDING, age 69 of Florence, KY died Thursday August 28, 2014 at the VA Medical Center, Ft. Thomas, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Ruth (Eversmann) Gerding and brothers Thomas and John Gerding.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Nordman) Gerding and sons Thomas Gerding and William Gerding. Sister Mary Jo Feuchter and brothers Donald (Judy) Gerding, Bill Gerding and Bob (Geneva) Gerding. Mother-in-law Margaret Martin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Ken was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam.

Visitation will be held 1-3 pm Saturday September 6, 2014 with a memorial service immediately following at 3 PM at Stith Funeral Home 7500 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042. Burial will be held privately by the family.
