Charles Joseph Evans, age 57 of Fayetteville, Ohio died Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a Turbo Air Operator for General Electric – Aviation and a United States Navy Veteran. Charles was born August 7, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio the son of Rosemary (Ritter) Gall of Fayetteville, Ohio and the late Charles W. Evans. Besides is father, he was preceded in death by one nephew – Gregory Evans and his father-in-law – Normand Michaud, Sr.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Evans is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wendy (Michaud) Evans, whom he married January 25, 1978; two sons – Charles Michael Evans and wife Christina of Fayetteville, Ohio and Jonathon Evans and wife Kayla of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren – Austin Parker, James, David, Olivia and Trent Evans; six brothers and sisters – Rosemary Iles of St.Martins, Ohio, James Vilvens and wife Donna of Fayetteville, Ohio, Beatrice Vilvens of Arizona, John Carl Vilvens, Dale “Gene” Evans and wife Lori and William “Jerry” Evans all of Fayetteville, Ohio; mother-in-law – Rachel Michaud of Alabama; one brother-in-law – Normand Michaud, Jr. of Alabama; one sister-in-law – Norma Smith and husband Cecil of Alabama and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the St. Angela Merici Parish – St. Patrick Chapel in Fayetteville, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ohio with military services by the Carey-Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
