Berning, Joyce (nee Ruehl) devoted wife for 60 years to the late John “Jack” Berning, loving mother of Dennis (Amy) Berning, Randy (Angie) Berning, Marty (Nicole) Berning, Theresa (David) Denoyer, Danny Berning, Missi (Tom) Becker, cherished grandmother of Nathan, Nicholas, Allison, Justin, Hannah, Tommy, Andrew, Sarah, Emily Claire, Katie, Caroline, Emily Marie, Maria, dear sister of Charlotte (the late Walter) Flynn, William Ruehl, James (JoAnne) Ruehl and the late Laverne (Arnold) Ralenkotter.

Joyce was a member of Legatus, former member of Board of Directors of Seton High School and Elder High School Pricinple’s Advisory Board. Died peacefully at her home April 16, 2014 at the age of 80.

Visitation Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at Meyer & Geiser Funeral Home, 4989 Glenway Ave, 45238 (opposite the Covedale Center).

The celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday10 AM at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral, 325 W 8th St. 45202.
