Joyce Margaret Johnson, age 92 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a former member of the British Military and a member of her son’s church, God’s Mission in Hamersville, Ohio.

Joyce was born November 3, 1921 in Thatcham, England the daughter of the late Archbald S. and Elisie May (Fisher) Millson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Rev. James Johnson in 2004, one son – Robert Johnson, two daughters – Rita Smith and Janet Mitchell, one granddaughter – Kelly Smith and one grandson – Corey Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by three daughters – Barb Boshears and husband Rick of Hamersville, Ohio, Mary Barthel and husband Mike of Harrison, Ohio and Susie Skeens and husband Darrell of Hillsboro, Ohio; eight sons – James Johnson and wife Diane of Georgetown, Ohio, Jerry Johnson and wife Debbie of Montgomery, Alabama, William Johnson and wife Jewel of Georgetown, Ohio, Don Johnson and wife Theresa of Mansfield, Ohio, Wayne Johnson and wife Diane of Georgetown, Ohio, Ron Johnson and wife Karen of Georgetown, Ohio, Tom Johnson and wife Nicki of Clarksville, Arkansas and Mike Johnson of Georgetown, Ohio; one daughter-in-law – Scherrill Johnson-Traxinger of Michigan; two sons-in-law – Jim Smith of Batavia, Ohio and Fred Mitchell of Felicity, Ohio; thirty-three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Shirlin Butler will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
