Lawrence T. Hanneken, 83, of Cold Spring, Kentucky passed away on July 24, 2016. Mr. Hanneken was a sales rep. for Madison Office Supplies, Covington. Attended St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Member of the Campbell County Historical Society. He worked for Hungtington Banks in the properties dept. Graduate of Covinton Holmes High School. Member of John R. Little VFW #3186, Southgate, Msgr. Lehr Council Knights of Columbus, and the Bishop Flaget Assembly of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, and also a member of the Northern Kentucky Civil War Round Table. Former City Councilman for Southgate, KY.

He was a combat engineer in the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

Lawrence was born October 26, 1932 in Covington, KY to Theodore Hanneken and Gertrude Kamp Hanneken.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Fischer Hanneken.

Survived by his Sons, Jeff (Rhonda) Hanneken, Greg (Cindy) Hanneken, and Dan (Laura) Hanneken. 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Sister, Ruth Bahr. Also brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Rosemary Fischer.

Graveside Blessing will be August 27, 2016 at 11:00 am

Burial St. John's Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

Following the burial, there will be a celebration of life reception at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2916 Alexandria Pike, Highland Heights, KY 14076.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, Kentucky 41017.
