Betty Louise Tutt, age 89 of Sardinia, Ohio passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Care Center in Seaman, OH after a long battle with cancer.

She is a graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown, Ohio and a faithful member of the Brownstown Methodist Church and was dedicated to serving her community through many civic organizations such as the VFW auxillary and the Brown County Senior Citizens.

She earned her LPN license from the Ohio Board of Nursing in 1968. She retired from the former Brown County General Hospital after 30 years of service.

Betty was born March 1, 1927 in Middletown, Ohio the daughter of the late Asa and Catherine (Teckemeyer) Peck. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Wallace Tutt whom she married November 1946, one son- Gerald Lee Tutt, one daughter – Frances Elaine Beaty, six brothers – Walter, Robert, Earl, Wilbur, Chester and Albert and two sisters – Dorothy Wilder and Marie Atkinson.

Mrs. Tutt is survived by three sons – Harold (Linda) Tutt of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Jim (Kim) Tutt of Sardinia, Ohio and Kenny (Danette) Tutt of Winchester, Ohio; three sisters – Kathleen Murphy and Mary Armitage both of Middletown, Ohio and Helen Wills of Beavercreek, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
