Robert H. Taylor, born December 28, 1932, passed away July 22, 2016. Survived by dear children Beverly J. (Douglas) Moeller, James R. (Lisa J. Monfort) Taylor, and Thomas A. (Peggy Osborne) Taylor, cherished grandchildren Jason Patrick (Stephanie) Moeller, Eric Taylor Moeller, Michael Douglas Moeller, Keith Thomas (Megan) Taylor and Kevin Gregory (Erica) Taylor, and his beloved great-grandchildren William Moeller, Patrick Moeller, John Moeller, and Kendrick Taylor.

Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife Marilyn Joan Taylor (Nee Knott) and parents Marion Preston and Jennie Ann Taylor.

Bob served in the Army overseas in Salzburg, Austria 1953-1955, where he attained the rank of Corporal. Robert went on to received the Army Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal with Germany Clasp, a National Defense Service Medal. Bob also served with the 640th Engineer Company (Field Maintenance) while in Austria.

Aside from the Army, Bob enjoyed sports, especially track and football, as he was a natural athlete. He also enjoyed traveling and the industrial arts, and being a Kentucky Colonel.

The family of Bob will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 11:00 AM. A military service will take place following the service at Rose Hill Cemetery (171 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, OH 45040) beginning at 11:30.
