Helen Gorzelnik Young (nee Gorzelnik), 91, born in New Bedford, MA, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Highland Springs of Ft. Thomas. She was a retired secretary for US Civil Service. She was also a member of the Enlisted Wives Club and a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan.

Her husband, Ronald Young, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine (Larry) Dettmer and Pamela Ziegler; grandchildren, Deets & Matt Dettmer and James & Jenna Ziegler; great grandson, James Ziegler.

Visitation 9:30 to 10:30am on Saturday, July 23 at Dobbling, Funeral Home, 106 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas. Mass following at 11:00 am at St. Therese Church, Southgate. Burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV.
