imothy H. Mathis, 60, of Fort Thomas, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. He was the owner-operator of Royal Barber Shop in Madeira. He was a 1973 graduate of Newport Catholic High School.

He was the son of the late Preston & Verda Hicks Mathis. His brother, James Mathis, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Simon Mathis; son, Craig Mathis; daughter, Stacey (Ken) Overbee; nephew, Preston (Kelly) Mathis; great niece, Kelsey Mathis; great nephew, Connor Mathis; sister-in-law, Sue Mathis; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Visitation 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY.

Mass 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas, KY. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
