William (Bill) E. Schwab, beloved husband for 51 years of Cathi Schwab (nee Hamel), loving father of Jennifer Parr (Tom), Bill Schwab (Janine), Greg Schwab, Julie Gunnarson (Mike), Kari Stewart (Mark), Shari Humbert (Tim), Mike Schwab (Maggie), dear grandfather of 26. Dear son of the late Arthur and Christina Schwab, survived by siblings Mary Ann Tewksbury (John), Margie Gessner (Frank), sisters-in-law Alice Schwab, Joyce Schwab, Mary Jo Schwab, Marilyn Schwab and Sandi Maxey.

Preceeded in death by siblings Rich Schwab (Henrietta), John Schwab, Norma Ollberding (Paul), Charlie Schwab, Paul Schwab (Lola), Tom Schwab, Roy Schwab, and brother-in-law Sebastian Mittermeier. Also survived by many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Loved serving his country for 6 years and serving in law enforcement for 31 years. Passed suddenly June 22, 2016 age 74.

Visitation Monday from 4-8pm at Neidhard Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood.

Funeral Mass 11am Tuesday at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, Monfort Heights. Burial with military honors to follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery, Delhi.
