Karen E. Fye, aged 69, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away April 28, 2016 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and a graduate of Indiana State University where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

She moved to the Cincinnati area in 1969 with her husband Dr. William M. Fye. In addition to being a homemaker she served as business manager for the "All About Kids" newspaper, show manager for the "All About Kids Show" and ended her business career by being a partner in the "Cincinnati Women" magazine.

She served as the city wide president of the Kindervelt, a charity auxiliary of the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from 1988 to 1990. She also served on board of trustees of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from 1991 to 1999.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William Fye, her children, Scott and Jane (Taylor) Fye, Jeff and K.C. (Koehne) Fye and Lindsey (Fye) and Nick Sharp as well as her grandchildren Mackenzie Sharp, Myles Fye, Holden Fye, Drew Sharp, Belle Fye, Kailee Sharp and Hollis Fye.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4th and will begin at 11:00 AM with service beginning 1:00 PM. at the Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. Burial will immediately follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery.
