Rosella L. Henson (nee Daniel), 89 of Newport, Kentucky passed away on April 27, 2016. Mrs. Henson was a member of First Baptist Church of Newport where she was the educational secretary for the Church from 1958-1973. Then a loan officer for Newport National Bank from 1973-1991. Graduate of Newport High School and 2 years at Cumberland College.

Born February 12, 1927 in Grants Lick, KY to Joseph Daniel and Florence Smith Daniel. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Clarence N. Henson.

Rosella is survived by her Daughter, Jean (Companion, David Charles Staton) Fightmaster of Independence, KY, Sister, Lucille First of Palm Harbor, FL, and Sister, Opal Richmond of Alexandria, KY.

Visitation 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp - Erschell Funeral Home, 835 York Street, Newport, Kentucky. Service will follow at 12:00 pm Monday, May 2, 2016, at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp - Erschell Funeral Home, Newport, Kentucky, with Rev. Michael Turner and Rev. Ken Willoughby officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Kentucky.
