Loving father of John (Kathy) Ernst, Jr., Eugenie "Genie" (Tom) Clark, Patricia "Pat" (Dave) Bevan and Judy (David) Skiff. Cherished grandfather of eight. Great-Grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Alfred and Paul Ernst and the late Joseph and Ralph Ernst. John passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at age 95.

Visitation, Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 330 W. Vine St., Reading, OH 45215 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 A.M.. Burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
