Michael Lee McQueary, age 67, of Covington, passed away on November 21, 2015 with his family by his side. Michael leaves behind his loving wife Deborah McQueary. He is also survived by his mother Sarah Holt and his siblings Carol Sue Ryan, Charles McQueary, and Steve McQueary; In-laws Mark (Fran) Stadtlander, David (Tina) Stadtlander, Joel Stadtlander, and Ron Schierberg; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets Whitey and Rosie.

He is preceded in death by his father Wilby McQueary; his mother and father in-law Harry and Theresa Stadtlander; his brother-in-law Timothy Stadtlander and sister-in-law Sally Schierberg; and his nephew Gabe Stadtlander.

Michael served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War where he became a decorated Marine. After his service, he started with CG&E, later Duke Energy, where he worked his entire career. Michael enjoyed spending his time with family and friends and had a great passion for fishing.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, 3312 MADISON PIKE, FT. WRIGHT, KY 41017.

A Catholic Blessing will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright. Burial at Mother of God Cemetery.
