Edward S. Strasser, M.D., born June 20, 1923 in Upper Sandusky, OH. Devoted son of the late Edward and Mary Strasser. Beloved husband of Marie Ann (nee Clott). Loving father of Dean (JoAnn), Margaret “Peggy” (Kevin) Murphy, Janet (Richard) Boehm and Karen. Cherished brother of Thomas of Huntley, IL and Jack (Dorothy) of Leesburg, FL. Dear grandfather of ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Attended St. Peter’s Catholic and Upper Sandusky High School. He attended University of Cincinnati for Pre-Med and Medical School graduating in 1948.

Edward and Marie Ann married in 1949. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a surgical technician in WWII and a General Surgeon in the Korean War. Edward joined Dr. John Cranley and Dr. Raymond Krause in practice of General and Vascular Surgery in 1957. He was certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of American College of Surgeons. He was a member of: Academy of Medicine, Cincinnati Surgical Society, American and Ohio State Medical Association, fellow of Ohio Chapter of College of Surgeons, America College of Angiology, American Geriatric Society and Ohio State Surgical Society. He was affiliated with Good Samaritan and St. Francis Hospitals and courtesy staff at multiple hospitals. Retired in 1995. Passed away Nov. 19, 2015. Age 92.

Visitation Tuesday Nov. 24th from 10:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at All Saints Church 8939 Montgomery Road (45236).
