Mary Lou Hurley age 82 of Hamilton passed away Friday June 26, 2015 at Hawthorn Glen. She was born August 10, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late Antoinette Fatika Scoles and Fred Wetzer.

She married Clyde Hurley in January, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Hurley worked for many years at Ohio Casualty Insurance in Hamilton. She was an avid quilter who was also fond of gardening, and enjoyed the company of handicapped bowlers. She was a long time member of the West Side Baptist Church where she served for many years as the church librarian.

She is survived by her son Doug (Sheryl) Hurley; her two daughters Debbie Hurley and Mary Beth Boggs; three grandchildren Eric (Lerin) Boggs, Michelle (Josh) Babb, and Amanda (Nick) Richards; great grandchildren Alex, Austin, and Alexa Babb, and Jayce Richards; her brother Joe (Arletta) Reumann and several cousins. Mrs. Hurley was also preceded in death by her sister Rosemarie (the late Frank) Arlinghaus, her in laws Tom and Lela Hurley, step father Bud Scoles, and her son in law Russ Boggs.

Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Friday July 3, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Tony Blanchard, officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. www.websterfuneralhomes.com.
