James R. Anthony, Sr, husband of Patricia Anthony, father of James R. Anthony Jr. and Tammy Durm (Jeff), grandfather of Jacque and Riley Anthony, Jackson and Sam Durm, brother of Claude Anthony, Mark Anthony, and Jeanette Whitehead. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

James, a resident of Bethel and formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on May 21, 2015 at age 67.

Visitation, E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main Street, (St. Rt. 125) Amelia on Sunday from 2-4pm. Funeral Services and Interment will take place at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Memphis, Tennessee.
