Having Jeanne Kavanaugh in your life was like having Charles Goren as your bridge partner. She was the best, and even at 90 years of age knew the cards that mattered most – faith, family and friends. She died in her sleep May 7, joining beloved Tommy and countless friends, including the “club” women.
She leaves behind son Kirk Kavanaugh (Jo Ann), Molly Kavanaugh (Frank Wiewandt), grandson Cody, sister Shirley Luken (Tom) and cousin Lois Johannigman.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m. at St. John Fisher in Newtown.
Donations can be made to Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati, 990 Nassau St., 45206. Rohde Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
