Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Goetz (Nee: Sansom), 90, of Ft. Wright, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2014. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Goetz, and her parents, George and Nell Sansom (Powers).

Betty is survived by her son, Gary (Mary) Goetz, daughter Barbara (Mike) Wilson, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Betty worked for over 20 years in sales in designer and fine clothing prior to her retirement. Throughout her life, Betty was actively involved with her friends and community, serving in may volunteer organizations, holding officer posts in several of these organizations. Two of her favorite community service involvements were with The Friends of NorthKey and the Ft. Wright Dirty Hands Garden Club. Betty has made the personal choice to donate her body to the U.C. College of Medicine to benefit medical research and training.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, KY, on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A short reception for family and friends will immediately follow the Mass. Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright is assisting the family.
